Bayreuth is easily reached using the larger railway hub Nuremberg or Lichtenfels (time tables can be checked at Trains leave Nuremberg main railway station every 30 mins. Get off the train at Bayreuth main train station. There is a taxi rank and a bus stop directly in front of the station.

Bayreuth can be reached best via the Autobahn A9 (Berlin-Munich). Take the exit 42 'Bayreuth Süd' and follow the traffic signs towards 'Universität' (University).

Bus at Bayreuth

Public buses run regularly between the city center and the university. All bus routes start from the central bus station (ZOH). There are two bus lines directly to the university: Bus No. 306 (Birken/Universität) and Bus No. 304 (Universität/Campus). Exit the bus at the bus stop 'Mensa' (cafeteria) and follow the signs to the conference venue.
